During Trump administration On November 13- 14, 2025, the White House announced framework trade agreements with Argentina, Ecuador, El Salvador, and Guatemala as part of President Trump’s reciprocal trade agenda.
Under the new U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) implementation of the U.S.–Korea Strategic Trade and Investment Deal, imports from the Republic of Korea now face a capped duty such that the base (column-1) tariff plus any reciprocal tariff cannot exceed 15%. For Korean goods whose base duty is already ≥ 15 %, no extra tariff is applied.
CBP’s Air Cargo Advance Screening (ACAS) program has been updated as of Nov 21, 2025. Under the new rule, air-cargo shipments to the U.S. must include additional data beyond the original manifest information. Mandatory data now includes consignee email, consignee phone, packing/pickup location, and “ship-to” party info
